THE SUPREME UNDERSTANDING OF TANTRA - MAKING LOVE - LIVING LOVE

Tantra is a path of action that has been around for centuries and is not only from India and Kashmir. Other cultures have used sexual energy for transformation into a higher state of consciousness; the American Indians, in Africa, in South America. All of them have had esoteric groups practicing the  Supreme Art of Tantra.

The elders Tantrikas say that Tantra is like a fabric endlessly woven with the colours of a rainbow. Such practice has been created by spiritual human beings in deep meditation. It doesn’t have any belief system and embraces all the religions. Osho says that the planet earth is in the right moment to embrace this unique Spiritual Path that gives profound results.

For that reason you see now that tantra is flourishing everywhere and is wonderful news.

A great insight in Tantra is that the feminine and masculine are equal and opposite forces which attract and complement each other. Dynamic-receptivity, positive-negative. This presence of opposing polarities is crucial, since it introduces us into a new dimension of sexual union.

Tantric union begins when we contact and re-establish our inherent male and female polarities. Our sexual conditioning has sadly clouded our natural polarity, leaving men and women out of balance with each other. A significant part of the work of Tantra is to bring back this balance.

I heard my beloved Master Osho say, “Tantra is the only spiritual path that accepts life in totality. There is no higher, no lower, no right, no wrong, nor good nor bad. Tantra is a goal-less path of meditation, it is a “Love effort towards Existence”

What I understand is that by bringing Conscious Loving to our Making Love we are creating an energy that goes from the earth to the sky, like a rainbow crossing the infinite space passing through our energetic centres (chakras) awakening in higher state of consciousness.

At the time when a man and a woman come together they can choose to Make Love like any other animal, on a horizontal level, just releasing, called ejaculation, or for  procreation, or they can choose to Make Love in a vertical orientation, where the energy ascends and is transformed in a higher state of awareness. Tantra together with Tao are the only spiritual paths that uses sexual energy and pleasure for inner growth.

"When all the seven centers (chakras) of a man are in tune and in harmony with all the seven centers of a woman, then you have found a soul mate. Tantra is alchemy; it can transform your centers. It can create a rhythm and harmony between you and your beloved. It is love at its peak. Then, Tantra really happens. The day humanity uses it, the earth will become aglow with a new love." - Osho.

In the Osho Tantric commune, where I stayed many times, was and still is, a Buddha field where the whole point of the meditator relating at all is to become adept in the knack of allowing the other to be a mirror for what is within ourselves. And in my life journey I experience the whole world as a mirror. If we allow ourselves to be open. This is what can happen in any relationship.

The Enlightened Tantric Masters say that the bodies are just vehicles for the energy to move and Tantric Love techniques have been developed to unlock and help the energy to flow in harmony in the body.

If, in Making Love we let the energies meet in their own ways. Men and women should be dropped out of it – just pure energy. You will not be Making Love with the genital organs only; you will be Making Love through you whole body." - Osho

Sometimes you don’t need to even touch the body of the person for the energy to move up all over, just with a look you can be ecstatic with bliss!!

When I studied Sacred Sexual Healing in Charles Muir’s training his whole approach to the teaching was about being totally present with the energy with a loving heart. The depth of this work has change my life. 

It is a gift to feel our body and our senses in each moment. We can quiet our mind with the bliss of pleasure, and merge our spirit into timelessness. This opens the door to true intimacy with ourselves, our beloved and those close to us, and we discover your orgasmic potential in the valleys and on the peaks, leaving conventional sexual goals behind.

Osho says that, even remembering a true union, transformation can happen and from experience, I can say this is true.

I would like to share this. The meaning of Shiva-lingam: no face, no feet – your sex energy is all over- the phallic- the Linga is your whole body, and for the women it’s the same, she also disappears. Her Yoni becomes just a divine vulva all over. The Earth Goddess divine-energy receiving the Sky God divine -energy in a deep Orgasmic Union.

These love techniques work on all levels of personal life, strengthening the body, calming the emotional mind, enhancing intelligence, alertness and intimacy  and thus taking you to spiritual awareness and abundance of pleasure. Attachment to stress and being busy all the time can block ecstasy and bliss. But I know for sure that, with a little bit of awareness, all that can change.

Creativity is a continuous expression of Making Love. The universe sees us as perfect and wants us to explore life in wonder, like child in the playground.

Origins of Tantra
It is often taught that there are two schools of Tantra, the left-handed path and the right-handed path, depending on the nature of the practices. However, these two are actually divisions within one school, that of Kaula Tantra. The other two are the Mishra and Samaya schools of Tantra. All systems or methods of Tantra fall into one of these three schools, though there may be many subdivisions within these three. 

The Kaula Tantra school utilizes external practices and rituals, while the Samaya school is completely an internal process. The Mishra Tantra school mixes the external practices and rituals, along with internal practices. The three schools are progressively higher, with Kaula Tantra being the lower, Mishra Tantra going further inward, and Samaya Tantra for those who are prepared to do the advanced practices. 

By being aware of all three schools of Tantra, one can more wisely see how Tantra might fit into his or her personal spiritual practices, not limiting one's scope to the choice between the two Kaula Tantra paths. 

Each of the three schools of Tantra believe in purifying of the body, breath, mind, and the latent impressions called samskaras, which are the driving force behind karma. The purifying process is called bhutashuddhi, which means purifying of the five elements of earth, water, fire, air, and space in the various ways in which they manifest. 

Each of the schools of Tantra also practice methods for awakening the spiritual energy of kundalini, though the methods and the height attained in that kundalini awakening may differ. Some of the methods of Tantra are taught under the names Kundalini Yoga or Kriya Yoga.
